This sounds right down my alley, never even heard of these guys which surprises me. Starting with the first album right now.

Yeah already loving them. Dark Tranquility is my favorite melodic dm band and these guys give me a similar vibe.

Sweep of Days is basically an Opeth track
and I'm not complaining

I expected greatness and was given greatness
@Egarran I told my friend that Be'Lakor sound like what Opeth should have done after Watershed so really feel you on that one

Dang, thought this thing sounded pretty good and then saw it was mixed by Jens Bogren. Well the 3 songs they've shared on Bandcamp rip, gonna try and find a full stream somewhere

Very good on first listen, will need to hear it a few more times to figure out where it sits. So far, I would not say it is as good as Vessels.

I really don't see the Opeth comparisons with this band. They feel much colder to me than Opeth ever did, idk how else to describe it.

Egarran, I thought the same thing. It is very similar to parts of The Drapery Falls.
This is really good overall but I wish they wouldn't use spoken word stuff. It just sounds silly. Luckily it doesn't happen much.

Hmm if Stone's Reach is 5 and Vessels is 4.5, this is probably a 4.

I'm with you.
And Sweeping Days certainly has some early opethian vibes going on.
