People just don’t want to apply that label to bands they like/their own bands because it’s become a dirty word but there is good and bad in every genre. To me this sounds like well done deathcore."
I don't think I've ever heard Knocked Loose be considered deathcore before - usually they're referred to as metalcore with sludge elements - but I do agree about the "dirty word" thing. It's funny how many people still get angry or hostile toward deathcore despite the fact that we got so many solid bands in the 2010s (especially in the tech-deathcore category). It ain't 2007 anymore, fellas, it's ok to like deathcore now

This is pretty good, but I definitely like Shade of Blue more, this is just a bit too much of chug-fest without time for atmosphere (except for the outros).

Wow, this is damn good! I really enjoyed their previous release but I'm certainly not disappointed they changed it up. I'm loving the direction they went for here, so hopefully we get a full LP's worth of material in a similar vein.
