i like good metal just been going through entire discographies one by one and unfortunately the founders' efforts didn't age very well imo

believe it or not i'm actually canadian (hence my liberal use of eh) but i admire poland very much and polish is my favourite foreign language. would be cool if i took one of those dna tests and found out i was part pole. if i'm bitter it's prob cuz of trudeau derping things up for the last 6 years

The thing about language is that one cannot dictate reality itself by saying it is so. By stating that the sky is red like apples and blood, instead of blue like the ocean, would not actually make the sky red. Adjacently, by stating over and over that you believe an album is obnoxious does not actually make it obnoxious and unfortunately says a lot more about yourself than about the album. It is about the subjective experience of course, however, when you say things like "This album is boring" you ignore the history of tech-death/progressive death metal, when you say things like "There is no death metal here", you show your sheer ignorance of genre boundaries. This seems like it is controversial on purpose to amass a crowd at your disposal instead of looking at the merits of the music fairly.

Agreed and I wasn't going to weigh in but just on the last line, what difference does it make if Death at this stage of their career played OSDM or progressive DM? It's some version of death metal. And to question if this is metal at all is baffling. What else is it?
