What kind of name is Gyromania. I mean yeah they're pretty tasty but always give me a stomach ache, and a mania you say? So like Wrestlemania for gyros?

Really dig "Guided Blight" and "Reeking Tunnels" on this.
Couple interesting riffs and ideas ("Eroding Shell", "All Bells Ringing") but other than that not a whole lot else to write home about imo

Dylan's vocals toward the end of Murmuring Foul Spring gets me so fuckin pumped.

After a few listens, I'm thinking I like this slightly less than Full Of Hell's last two LPs, but still very good

what were really getting is 17 minutes of some kick ass grind and three minutes of nonsense with Derelict Satellite
Does anyone actually like their industrialish-noise songs. Rainbow Coil was the worst song on the last one too.
|

I don't like them noisy interludes, but they sort of pave the way for the next track so in that sense I dig it.

Its always to be praised.

The industrial noise parts of this actually struck a chord with me on initial inspection, pretty cool. I like their place here. I wouldn't want a whole album of it, but that's not the point.
'yeah the new record feels a lot less DM-inspired to me. while you could say the last three albums are in a similar vein, i don't think they (and this one in particular) sound the same at all.' (2)
I literally just heard Trumpeting Ecstasy for the first time today, but yeah it feels distinct and quite different to this (or the last one). It rules by the way, this band is definitely growing on me.

glad we agree Trumpeting is still very distinct. Also glad you dig Trumpeting, it's prob my fave FoH.

Weeping, Trumpeting, this one, the other two, honestly I heard them once and can't even remember them.

This one? As in an album you merrily slapped a 4.2 on?
It must've left some sort of impression on you.

Maybe they’ve caught me on the wrong day with this one. I found nothing here that would make me think of playing this again. I probably will though given the ratings and I don’t mind their previous stuff.

Demon, I mean the first 2, I haven't rated them yet.
This, I obviously jammed it more than once before writing it up ;=)

Oh right, your comment made it look like you possibly heard them ALL once. Whoops.
Yeah obvs you must have jammed it a few times in order to review it, my bad.
I can't remember a right lot about the debut either.

Yeah man cursory listen to the first two never got in deep with them, should revisit them soon though, now that this one's fresh.
