When has this band not relied on crescendos? Isnt that post-rock summed up in one word lol. This will probably be really fun live.
Also, weren't clean vocals always kind of something they needed to include for some time now? I love You Without End but it was pretty jarring and the slower parts of their work usually had no george so it probably helps expand his role a bit.
Moving forward it'd be great if they blended their old sound into the new one, with screams for metal sections but it's possible they've dropped the metal for good.
Jack Shirley's production is on point here as usual.
