Give it time. It's a grower for sure

That stretch from Amber to Lich is absolutely incredible. This does rival Melting Sun tbh, just in a much different way.

First half isn't bad but it feels a bit jarring. Second half slows it down a notch and resembles the Melting Sun/Agape sound more. Rearranging the tracklist would improve this significantly methinks.

"This does rival Melting Sun tbh" straight up im jealous as fuck of yours ears man lol, damnit. melting sun is probably my alltime favorite album and i would love a second record that rivaled it. think the closest is australasia or kodama (to my ears you know)

Yeahh budgie I'm sorry this didn't click for you. Knowing you 5'd their discog but didn't care for this is totally understandable tho. This is like a complete departure from their old sound.

Did you like Lake Fantasy at least?

sure the first single, ive made the comment 3 or 4 times, reminded me a lot of CKY, and i love CKY. but the album overall just didn't work for my peabrain

fire in our throats is awesome but i'm #team australasia forever ;)

Ha true! CKY makes me miss the Jackass days and the days when Bam Margera wasn't a complete trainwreck of a human being.

And that's fair I kinda expected this album to be polarizing for a lot of people

The first two songs start the album perfectly but I didn't like how they followed that so I ended up switching "Home" and "Cocoon Tree House" places in the tracklist and flowed much better this time.

I keep getting to that halfway point in Amber where it starts to kick into gear and the intensity lasts 5 seconds it's like they're edging me

Got some Hum's latest one vibes (which could be awesome). Also some Ghengis Tron s latest stuff, but with vocals, or Great Dismal from Nothing, but somewhat worse than all these. Its cool they explore new territory but it did nothing on me. Track Vertigo is pre good tho.
