I think a lot of her inflections here are very Punisher-esque. A lot of this sounds like Phoebe playing her hand at various folk icons...Elliott Smith, S&G, etc.

I'm surely guilty of it myself at times
I do think it proves just how much of a scene leader Bridgers has become, though

i don't follow her too closely but it she seems like she is transparent about having connections and uses her platform pretty well so that's cool in my book. feel bad that she gets vitriol about it which seems to be affecting her

as someone who follows her she's one of the very few artists at her level who comes across as a genuinely kind-hearted and harmless person so it sucks that she gets so much shit from nerds online
