I know this is cynical to say and all but it does genuinely feel like they had one or two singles and then the rest of the songs they only half-put together so they had an excuse to release a record and tour.
I mean, I understand I'm not the target listener of any modern Maroon 5 album but even in a beer-party-accompaniment context, it's still the laziest record I have heard in a while...

I'd imagine it's a job that pays pretty well. Maroon 5 is a pretty good gig to work, even if the band themselves are unapologetically phoning it in.
