Yeah I know, my confusion being I thought he owned the label.

Man this shit gets into goth and darkwave really hard and I love it.

Also, nice dig heck.

Yeah this has big Dewicore goth vibes and I kinda love them too this time around. Excited to jam this again / follow that Access Path on the last page

Toby D has so many grievances with the music biz that it's funny think of him owning a label. Doesn't he have a new one out soon?

The goth vibe helps to create a whole new, more varied sound that manages to keep the 80's, synth filled style his more synthwave works are known for

I still prefer Dangerous Days/Uncanny Valley type Perturbator, but the vibes are great here. On the first few listens songs are not always that memorable though.

I really like how he can change things up stylistically, but still remain himself. This is almost nothing like what he's done before, but it still FEELS like a Perturbator record.

Pajolero pretty much hit the nail on the head and that's one of the biggest reasons I gave the LP a score I'm not sure it deserves. I really should have thought to mention that in the review.

Sounds too commercial to me. It's not his best, that's for sure.

What a fantastic review! First of yours I've read, and I like your style

I had no idea Pert was coming out with a new one, but I had wondered about it over the last year. I know his B-Sides collections are pretty hefty, but his last real release was New Model in 2017 (can't believe it's been that long). Can't wait to listen to this.

Only Refn movie I've watched is Drive, which is a classic imo. What should I check next, boyos?
