Good stuff. Prob the feel-good aoty. I love the pop songs but I gotta say a lot of the ambient stuff negatively impacts the flow and cohesion of the album

Agree on the ambient sections being annoying, especially Wind Tempos

But overall this is a beaut. Honestly surprised to see the amount of critical attention this has gotten tho

yeah i think pieces like wind tempos just overstay their welcome and could be half as long, but this is definitely a great listen overall and the mature followup I think he needed to put out

production and sound design is incredible and really compliments the upbeat vibe of the record, but I do wish his voice was a little better, it often strays into being completely flavourless

i want a new virtual self release though porter please cmon it's the best stuff you've ever done

It's really great. One of the most emotionally truthful albums I've heard in ages - you can tell these songs are extremely special to him. Love the use of piano throughout too. The whole thing has such a regenerative vibe.

this is growing on me, I'm realizing how much I love saccharine melodies and skittering synths mixed together, and this is just such a blissful soundscape. But man I'd love an album just exploring the sounds on Wind Tempos and dullscythe.

this could probably stand to be two tracks shorter though
