Parannoul (whose LP has fantastic bits but is way overlong and vaguely grating in a cute way) and Sonhos Tomam Conta (didn't check oops)
fwiw I'd say Parannoul "won" that split, but the Asian Glow songs there are mostly killer hmm

Parannoul wins the split and probably the solo album too though I’ve been getting into the Hypnagogia LP by Sonhos Tomam Conta and that may top Parannoul for me. Haven’t heard her other one from this year.

I'd peep the split bc it's pretty great and shows this project and Parannoul off rly well, and then decide if you vibe. all three fit together nicely

Def peep the split as that may be my fav of all of them. Sonhos Tomam Conta solo hasn’t blown up as much but is also great emo-esque shoegaze/blackgaze with some vapor-esque undertones (allegedly the style she draws from is dreampunk which I’d never heard of before so can’t attest to). That one’s possibly the heaviest in terms of lyrical content but maybe the most conventionally beautiful?
