An obvious but understandable misinterpretation of His words, as most people would not have been aware of the stoner subgenre, aproximately two thousand years ago.

Finally gave this a dedicated listen. I'm glad I was out of the loop and missed the demo until I saw the singles for this. I probably would have been pretty hyped otherwise because that demo does in fact rule.
Pretty boring album all around though. Only tracks I'll probably ever revisit are Dead As Shit, Urinary Ichor, and Felching Filth. Everything here is just so standard and it drags so much even though it's not lengthy. I love brutal death metal and I'm pretty easily entertained also so I can definitely see why some wanna hit this with the 1's and 2's honestly. My rating is generous tbh

I gave this another (dedicated) listen and yeah this isn’t great. Mostly pretty boring. That ‘this is heavy’ fix wore of very quickly. Ah well.

The chugs here just got some ingredient missing that makes them not as face scrunch inducing as they should be. I'm not sure what ingredient that is exactly. It might just be that they overstay there welcome but I don't think that's it tbh. Closing track will definitely be something I return to though. Urinary is nice too. Think I liked the singles more prior to hearing them in the context of the album though
