I think Youth will always be my favorite by them. Wasn’t really convinced to hear the rest of this based on the singles

@Sowing you should check the new Kali Masi instead

If it wasn't for Glass World this would be the hardest 3 ever.

This is good, but I relistened to As You Please earlier and realized how much better these guys were as a 5 piece. Losing two key members really watered down their sound unfortunately. Rather than writing catchy, anthemic bangers this time around they instead took the fun, laid back, poppy route. Still a handful of classic sounding Citizen songs though so its certainly worth the time

Agreed jay. Most of this is nice and fun but the lack of standout moments really hurts it IMO. After 4-5 listens I feel like Glass World and the opener are the only two tracks worth coming back to

This is a fun driving album full of little bops that I mostly wouldn't feel comfort enjoying in front of other people

Call it a guilty semi-pleasure because it's not even really that fun, lol.

"Right, where are Citizen at? Ah, they just released their fourth album Life in Your Glass World, and it seems like they are somewhere… in the middle of it all."

Okay this is way more fun than I first gave it credit for. Jamming this right now and rocking out in embarrassing white boy fashion.

Haha nice Sowing! Looks like you enjoyed their other stuff too, that's rad.

I'm coming around to a lot of these songs honestly. Edge of the World is a lovely closer that initially, I didn't think much of

I cant tell if the band names in the first paragraph are real or a satirical note on the tropes of that scene's aesthetic. "Modern Baseball"? Really? Please tell me thats satire I'll be much happier for it.

Modern Baseball is indeed a real band. And not a very good one.

Edge of the World was an immediate standout for me. There's something incredibly romantic about the song.

Pretty disappointed with this. I enjoyed the first single but I just don't enjoy this direction.
