The album is great, specially the drumming. First listen felt like a washed up version of the original sound but I am sure more listens will reveal smth more.

This is pretty good so far, definitely a very different vibe from their early material but it's well-written and performed. Kinda reminds me of a synthier version of The Contortionist's latest material at times, specifically on songs like Pyrocene, and there's also a Tame Impala vibe on some of the songs too.

Think I'm on board with this. Pyrocene is great and a much better single than the title track imo. This is basically heavily electronic post-rock. And one of the better stabs at that combination I've heard. I worry that it won't have much staying power but no use worrying over tomorrow's problems.

I love Board up the House, but this is one of the most boring, uninspired albums I've ever heard. It's like Tera Melos and Nine Inch Nails with down's syndrome
