@dewinged no worries I was just curious!

Yeah sorry man, I read a bunch of interviews and articles for the rev and I can't remember where I read smth about it.
We talking favorites? The opener is incredible, it does the opener's job swiftly. The second half of Towers, the closer, Omega... So many good tracks, it's hard to choose.

Feather, it just gets better and better and by the end you're just kinda like, AOTY I guess?

@DungeonBoy I am approaching the halfway mark on Towers right now and I am blown away. This is definitely not my usual genre and it RIPs. The closest two things I probably listened to last year to this were the newer Misery Signals and the Protest the Hero album tbh.
I also feel like the album cover matches my avi haha

Last similar thing I listened to that I dug this much was the Pijn and Conjurer colab, but this is on a whole other level. Also, the whole album is so seamless, even the interlude type tracks work really well in the grand scope of things. I just finished it, and want to start it over

I strongly recommend getting on that Psychonaut album I put on the RBR section. It's similar to this, really good stuff too.

"Last similar thing I listened to that I dug this much was the Pijn and Conjurer colab"
yeah that doesn't feel stylistically similar but I definitely was similarly blown away by both, particularly the openers on both albums. really digging this so far

okay, thoughts:
- jammed this twice in a row, which p much exactly got me through a thorough sweep of one of the tougher Nioh 2 missions on max difficulty, nice. this combo was distracting enough that forgot i 1) was hungry 2) put rice on as precaution against hunger, so now it is kinda stodgy and gross. this is good but also not good.
- the bits that count here slap like hell. Sì-XIV fuck me, Omega Severererer yes yes very good. good shit.
- those interludes can get tae fuck. i usually hate it when people complain about stuff like this, but the pace stalls like hell at the end of every other banger and I cannot abide it. these tracks all have solid pacing and dynamics within themselves, feels a real waste to break em up
- the production is nice and i can vibe the tones, but i wish it was filthier
gonna read the rev now!!

@Feather I'm in the UK and the UK store has diddly squat available, I wanted the T-Shirt with the album art, but they only have it in small. The shipping fees are silly from America.
As for best song on the album it's Towers for me, the second half is just killer.

This is really good, it's probably recency bias but opener and closer are my two initial favorites. 4 for now, might be a 4.5 in time

so I just went on a long run listening to this and when Adraeden came on, I thought the album had ended because it was essentially 2 minutes of silence. these outros/intermissions are real unnecessary. The rest of the album was phenomenal. Getting some Deafheaven vibes at times. Also Misery Signals heavily, but again, I am not at all familiar with most of this genre.
