because everyone forgot about this the year after release, but it took 2-3 years for them to stfu about phoebe bridgers
then the new boygenius happened, cemented every misgiving anyone had ever had about phoeB being an overrepresented drab songwriter, and sparked off a load of "wait, was julien always this far ahead of the rest?" discourse that caused people to look back and realise that yup, it really had been ages since she last did anything
