Oh, and the visual component was pretty nice if you didn't catch it at the premier Friday night. If you search the band and album on YouTube it'll be one of the top results.

Thank you both! The kind words mean a lot. Typos aside, I was proud of how I was able to word that.

Yeah, I think the title track closing out the album with a more emotional approach works far more than trying to show the complexity other songs had. That’s their country/blues knowledge in work there.

Yeah it definitely fits the bill as psychedelic and country, progressive might be the biggest stretch out of the three but they're progressive in the way Pink Floyd was - not Dream Theater or any of those noodling prog metal outfits. So in other words, the good kind of progressive lol.

The bandcamp stream is embedded in the review, so you could always give it a go and find out. It's pretty light on the country, so you might be pleasantly surprised.

I already checked some songs on YouTube, it made me say "is this Pink Floyd with a telecaster and a lap steel". That's not a compliment.

Lmao. Fair enough.

There's absolutely some PF worship going on but I think they succeed by infusing it with elements of country/Americana and indie-rock. They might be channeling the classic rock vibes hard, but they really make it their own.

Right on, nightbringer. Production and overall sound is crazy lush. I can't stop sinking into this over and over.

@Josh D. You're gonna be really disappointed when I tell you that David Gilmour uses the lap steel and has for like ever
