Wasn't expecting the luci stamp of approval for this, wow.
Edit: unless it's just that one song, ha!

It only took me 1 shoutbox post this time...I must be getting better at this. ;-) excited to see what you think especially because this is just as much psychedelic rock as anything, lol.

Lmk Pho3nix! I forget what your preferences are when it comes to psychedelic and country...

Weirdly enough I also like it most in the morning. Something about this album just feels majestic, like a grand reveal, and it makes every morning feel like the start of something special. I know that sounds corny af but it's true.

Interesting, I feel like I slipped into their aesthetic a bit easier because I basically woke up and threw it on as my first listen.

I was looking at this album yesterday, it should be interesting at the very least.

I would have never found this without the review (and a great review at that). Well done Sowing, as usual. Just skimmed the album, it sounds gorgeous.

I really didn’t expect to find myself loving something like this so much. I’ve been finding some Americana that I enjoy (neglected it for my whole life), but this is a masterpiece. It’s like Pink Floyd’s Meddle and WYWH met modern alternative country. Thanks for reviewing. Would’ve never found this in any other way.

It always makes me proud to help introduce a band that might otherwise not get much exposure. Cheers!

Not sure about the country bit but I'm always ready to prog. Will report back.

The country elements here are very tame so it might still work for you. It's basically just the vocalist and the occasional twang, but this is like 50% psychedelic, 30% country, 20% prog. They strike a remarkable balance to make this appealing to fans of all genres. Some may see that as a bad thing but I don't. It's a gorgeous listen.
