it's really unsurprising that they've gone this route. these dudes are all like mid-late 30s, at this point I think it would be weirder if they'd stuck to playing pop-punk Warpedcore. it's a dogshit album but I almost respect them more for shamelessly pursuing pop radio appeal in their old age

Bad Vibrations is barely less heavy than anything before it, I never got that criticism people level at it. if anything the biggest issue is that it just sounded like everything else they'd ever done at that point.
