Uh best parts of the record are the bass lick around 1:34-1:46 and the breakdown on Permanent. Last Chance To Dance could be "okay", but those lyrics JFC. Most of this is some of the worst shit I've ever heard tho and I really dont think there's any way they could have pulled off this style shift. There's nothing to work with here.



A 1.5 feels too generous, but a 1 feels a tad too harsh. It's a 1.3

See I disagree here, and I think it's what makes this thing as disappointing as it is. They absolutely do/should have the ability to pull this off... yet failed harder than even their greatest detractors could have predicted. There's been inklings of this style since WSYFM.

I haven't really read much on the writing process of this album, but I believe they absolutely had some outside help here that they weren't using before. Like this shit doesn't even sound like ADTR.

shit is absolute trash. used to love these dudes and this bullshit doesn't even sound like them. there are maybe 2 songs that have any day to remember traces... don't see myself ever ever coming back to this.

Who the fuck thought red on red would look good or even be discernible from a distance. That art really is terrible.
