I would say don't bother with the rest Gyro, the best track is the opener.

yeah idk this whole thing sounds aimless to me. a bit muddied production too - like everything kind of blends together in this amorphous blob of homogeneity. the first track is pretty good, the last one is decent too but at about the midway point it just devolves into more dull meandering. kind of like how dissonant the latter half of geometrical shapes is but at 5:19 the payoff just isn't worth the journey.

The slow track in the middle is the only one I don't like, but the one after and the little kraut rock track before are cool. But agree, opener and closer are the best, they both have videos.

I can certainly relate when you said you haven't heard anything like this in years. I can at least appreciate the originality of the sound in general. Some of the tracks are definitely worthwhile but Everything is Now is definitely a low point.

Any band name that ends with Die though is generally a good sign for the music haha

lol. I thought the back half of this album was better than the front half, and I do agree it smacks somewhat of homogeneity.
