@Project & Dewinged

Their debut is better and check Glue, which is a perfect song by all accounts. This still has some gems on it but it would be a shame if this was the only album of theirs you checked out

I might have to. I think it's interesting that you pointed out the flow of this album as a weak spot. I normally associate that with an album feeling disjointed, where in this case if anything it doesn't flow at all, it just stagnates.

But Atlas is very nice, that is for sure

Sure, a lot of it doesn't "pop", but I think that's besides the point (and intent) of this work. Texturally, it's brilliant, and from what I can hear, that's the ball they chose to roll with on this on.

It's cos these guys know how to make things flow well. Their live shows really bring out the material and the flow of the set is phenomenal

I just checked and I still have valid tickets to see these guys in Brixton whenever that will be. Maybe this will make sense after that gig

Brixton academy is around 5000, which I think might be a lot too. Think my concern is more the vibe of the venue as Brixton is a little fancy and would rather a gritty venue like those near Shoreditch.

So happy though, I thought I sold those tickets. Gonna be a sick night, probably next year lol

Nothing here is 'glue' which is the hardest jam. That being said, Atlas, Apricot and X are really good!

still don't get why people love glue so much, it was one of the lesser cuts on their debut for me

@Pheromone Was this the London gig? it was rescheduled to October now and I still have my tickets valid

Glue is basic, sure but it hits all the right notes. IMO it's a perfect song and encapsulates 'less is more'

Biggest letdown of the year so far. Not bad, but completely forgettable.

Well you're in luck - every song on this record sounds exactly the same.

Prefer Bicep's earlier stuff but this is still pretty good. Perfect vibes for those giant clubs and festivals. Makes me wanna be at a festival with all my friends (:

Saw them live for the first time last night and for a group that's been on my musical bucketlist for years, holy shit, they delivered the goods.

Crazy how their live material is so much better than the studio recordings and the lighting show was absolutely stunning. Probably THE best electronic music gig I've seen live
