This is mucho worth checking, and the rest of his solo canon + Self-Preserved are aight too
Can confirm that my next rev is half-drafted and so far contains nothing but obscure jabs

Only one song from this is on YT 😔

Guess I'll stick with checking Oceansize instead.

Once again, he delivered big time.
I especially like the quiet songs more, especially Elemental, Mourning on the Range and the closer. Considering how quickly he wrote this one compared to Blizzard, that is even more impressive

I would have listened to this more than once in the background if it was on Spotify. I hate listening to shit on the bandcamp app, I'm so spoilt. Maybe I'll just buy it.

Silhouette is one of Vennart's finest tracks. His vocals are entering god-tier status and it's insane how much he's improved in such a short period of time. I miss the 'Size as much as anyone else (untouchable band), but I can't say I'm bummed getting to hear Mike continue to bring his unique compositional style to a bunch of genres that wouldn't have been so readily apparent in a 'Size album.
I just don't know whether to call Demon Joke or this one his best, it's a really tough call.

mmm this seems interesting. I loveeee oceansize. How similar is this?
|

@Citadel Nice, Demon Joke is a tad underrated imo. Some amazing tracks on there.

Vennart's most consistent and uninhibited album to date. Such an underrated artist. This is on par with Oceansize's best work.
