Living Apology is the only track that’s not on the same level as the others for me, that said it’s still wonderful

Favorite keeps switching between In My Blood, 12 Weeks and Santiago Peak

Living Apology's chorus tho. Seneca gets my vote for weakest followed by the closer

not saying i'm vouching for yet another emo band to go the shoegaze route.. but imagine.. more dreamy tracks like in my blood in the future.. i wouldn't be opposed to that at all

also not unlikely if they stick with will yip lol

I give Will Yip a hard time, but he really is a great producer (in some instances). He did a perfect job on this and Feel Something.

yeah i definitely dig this, it's a 3.7-3.8 or so

doesn't touch feel something though, that is their peripheral vision

Hello Exile is a prime example of Will's "completely drown out vocals and make them as quiet as possible" effect

Nice review, been thinking about getting into this band. Any bands with similar sounds to compare with?

Id never heard of Will Yip til rn and it's crazy to me that he did both After the Party and Hello Exile lmao

After the Party is so perfectly produced and Hello Exile sounds like a rushed self-production job

But he's done a lot of other good shit, surprised I hadn't heard of him til now. I especially like how he produced Mannequin Pussy's album

the contrast between after the party and hello exile is insane yeah. god tier yip production is peripheral vision imo

thanks cost! similar sounding bands would be the hotelier, citizen (as you please), balance and composure, that kinda thing.. some la dispute elements as well, idk it's hard to pin them down, just check it out haha!

Great minds think alike Jesper :] And oh yeah of course, how could I forget The Hotelier? Best band of the whole emo revival

Peripheral Vision is Yip's finest work. Forever and always.

imagine a hotelier x movements split or collab of sorts... one can dream, at this point i'll be happy if the hotelier do literally anything at all lol

funny how Yip used to be a punching bag and now he's produced two of my most favorite albums ever with Peripheral Vision and Feel Something

Alright might be time to bump this up a little. It's so fucking good. The flow from one song to the next is awesome too.
