"their first album is closer to synthrock/electronic rock than synthpop"

Might have to check it out, I randomly checked a single off of it and it reminded me of Innerpartysystem

Apparently the CD/vinyl releases don't have the feature either. Makes me wonder if the feature was a late addition

In guessing so, it honestly feels pretty tacked on to me. It's not terrible as much as it just sounds out of place. Great song otherwise tho!

If I can't find a copy of Hallucinations I'll probably have to buy this one day, so I'm glad it's not on the physical lol

I was wondering if that avg was going to get above a 3 at some point

Will most likely check this at some point. Pretty much heard and liked everything else they have done

this album bored me to death. Stay Gold is great, everything else is dull and uninspired. Lynn is the only songwriter now, Brian has stepped back and allowed Lynn to have full creative control which is probably why this album is completely devoid of personality. Lynn is a great singer and writer, but bands sound better when the music comes from different people with different tastes and ideas. when it’s left to one sole member it loses something. this album really disappointed me

yeah I've gotta admit I'm not a fan of them going the panic! at the disco route, it's still a good album but it's missing that spark the first two (and the three EPs) had now that it's a one (wo)man show

I like the album, it's a bit better than their first, a bit worse than their second imo.

I think I prefer their first a bit to this but it's been a while since I checked!

their first is by far their best, their second is great but definitely a mark down. this is definitely their worst, and they probably won’t reach the heights of their first EP’s ever again

This has some nice songs, some are a bit bland.
