My little sister was a huge fan of the debut ep and album and I was as well. Really bummed she didn’t keep on more consistently, but this is a very pleasant surprise! Not as strong, and completely different but still really strong

first few listens of this gave me a cool upbeat-lana vibe, but unfortunately her delivery is a bit milquetoast and doesnt do much justice to the really strong ideas and sonic palette.

I think in a lot of cases I like the diversity in Zella's songwriting over Lana's. Lana has this iconic, timeless voice though - and she delivers with a weird sense of emotionless poignancy that is highly alluring. Zella can't seem to match that natural gift regardless of how much better her songwriting actually is.

liking this a lot. her music has matured a lot since her last singles, even. maybe not lyrically, but the sound is vastly more thought-out and consistent.
some of her older singles, while good, are too god damn catchy and her voice is so strong and memorable, the songs will actually eat away at my brain for days after hearing them.
anyway, this ep here throws all that away, and the possible radio success of an earworm, to deliver a more quality album. at least, that's how i look at it

Album art for Kicker made me really want to like her but it was pretty mediocre. Gonna check this anyway

Only a Dream is one of her very best

Radio Silence is the best thing she has released since Kicker. I wish she hadn’t abandoned Kicker/EP sound.
