Man, this guy rules so much. Absolute modern jazz piano mastery, with no bad album to his name

I'll give you some recs, depending on which side of him you're looking for. Do you want the more djenty tech-y side of his work, or the more classically-inclined solo piano stuff?

classical piano sounds way up my alley

I do still enjoy techy, but it has to overlap perfectly with my need for accessibility in order for me to appreciate it

I would definitely recommend A Fable then. That album is a wonderful blend of classical and jazzy influences, and has a cool otherworldly vibe about it

Someone's trying to interject and they're being silenced, this now feels like a trap. Does this guy sound like a bullfrog when he sings or something? If so, that's not quite the deterrent it seems.

He sings too! But just very pretty lil melody lines, no lyrics or anything. Sow m'boy, either listen to Koris or check this and Mockroot (Mockroot first prolly coz it's a bit classier) or listen to everyone and check everything.

In faaaaaaaaaaaact personally I think his live performances are his best material: check this'n!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOOK8fgty5Q

Yeah, I guess I was referring to lyrics when I said there's no singing. I do love the way he uses those light vocal melodies over the softer tunes :]

Needed to add this live performance of the trio:

And yes, his live stuff is prolly his best stuff. Saw him live two times an IT was simply outstanding. He is such a incredibly nice and introverted guy. But man If he starts performing, its pure energy.

I recommend Nairian Odyssey, wich is a very unique listening expirience.

I jam him a lot and sometimes his records can be a lil lengthy so i did this list. Glad if you find some new Tigran music u like ^^
