If you like Levitation 21 and New Maps you should check out Tigrans Mockroot.

Furthermore you should check out Nairian Odyssey. IMO one of the best Songs of the last decade.

I can echo the sentiment that his studio work doesn't quite match up to his live performances. His live vids are some of the best shit I've ever seen.

I was actually just thinking about what makes his lives so exciting, haha. I think this music is somewhat sterile in-studio. It is technical but controlled. However, the musicians are basically fighting for their lives when playing it live. I mean, they clearly know their shit but the stakes still feel super high.
