I don't know what it is about this album but every song makes me want to sing along. The vocals are fun and melodic

This worked for me better than the new Protest the Hero album, which I was really hyped.

This is infinitely better than their last effort. Great vocals and great instrumentation in a cohesive album.

I liked PtH better than this (the hooks!), but this is still very good

Couldn't get into their previous work, even after seeing them live. I went because Icarus the Owl was opening (they were incredible)... this album though, this is great. They put off some Emarosa meets circa survive vibes for me.

I also saw them live because I love ITO what a nice coincidence. Their drummer wasn’t there because he had a family emergency and they had no back up so they played all the songs off a laptop and played along to them. It was fucking weird man.

Yeah I definitely get the Circa Survive vibes too. Seeing these guys with ItO sounds like a blast.

that sounds absolutely wild

That was when Icarus the Owl opened! The drummer wasn't there when I saw them which is probably why I didn't dig them as much ... the giant speaker with a duck tape smiley face taking the drummers spot and playing off a laptop was a little too much for me hahaha

my favorite tracks are Whatever Happened to, Redshift, If You Weren't My Son. Kimbal is also very cool. But I don't get songs like 1252. I think it's a shame that "Ghost Vomit" isn't as well finished as it should be.

the album's really quite good after all. I listened to it several times before I went to sleep yesterday. And this morning I listened to it in its entirety again before I really got up.
