considering all of biffy's best stuff wasn't even alt rock and their live show (at least the footage i've seen) isn't mindblowing gonna doubt that highly, there are a hundred bands who put on better live shows

There's a huge difference between studio and live for many bands, in either direction.
Slipknot for example isn't a band I'd put anywhere near the top studio wise, but live they're something else.

Biffy are great live! And this is another great album to add to their discog. After Ellipsis I thought they go down but the OST and this are just great.

This was kind of a blind purchase since I haven't listened to these dudes since Only Revolutions. It's a fun album, but it didn't feel entirely cohesive. Plus the swearing felt somewhat out of place.

Blinder of a record. Ever since Infinity I’ve been a fan but it wasn’t until Puzzle that I was blown away by them. They’ve had ups and downs since then, Ellipsis being the worst offender, however this record is the perfect harmony of the older material and newer sounds. Sorry but Space is also a fab track. Cop Syrup is PERHAPS the best song they have ever written alongside Living is a Problem.
It’s a re-energised sound. In fact I might do a cheeky review on it.

I have never listened to Biffy Clyro, but new song (Unknown Male 01) jumped into me on Youtube so i give it a try and i must say, it is really catchy.
