Theistic satanism is actually believing in Satan and God, and choosing Satan's side instead of God's side. Whereas traditional Satanism is more like humanism. I think in most BM Satan represents rebellion against normalcy and traditional values moreso than the actual fallen angel, Lucifer.

I hear you. One of the things I've learned over the years is never to discuss religion on the net or politics with a communist. It gets you nowhere.

Idk, I like testing my beliefs against other beliefs through discourse, however heated. You can't find out if you're actually right in an echo chamber. And this is me speaking as someone that's kind of an anarcho-commie. But yeah, I respect everyone's right to theologically believe or not believe whatever they want as long as they don't step on other people's toes.

eh, at this point I’m pretty locked in regardless if I’m in an echo chamber or not.

I mean, I went to private Christian schools all the way through my senior year of high school and ended up a left wing atheist. That should speak volumes.
