Good review and good album. Led Zeppling was still defining itself during this first album. I personally think that Plant's voice was still pretty good in this one. Anyway, i prefer it to much later albums.

good review, but any album that includes babe i'm gonna leave you, communication breakdown, dazed and confused etc. deserves at least higher than a 3.

Dazed and Confused is honestly not that great of a song. I don't know why it gets so much praise. I think it's one of the weaker songs, even on this average Led Zeppelin album.

i really like this. i didnt at first but it grew on me. i love babe im gonna leave you. dazed and confused is a pretty cool song though.^^ Also I just realised how many more times is on this and my bass/guitar teacher had just showed me the main bass riff.

How dare anyone diss Robert Plants vocals. Aside from Chris Cornell and Freddie Mercury he's probably my favorite vocalist. This album should get a 5 just for having Dazed and Confused. The part where Jimmy plays with a voilin bow is genius.

Dazed and Confused is easily the best Led Zeppelin song I've heard. The rest of the album hasn't really grabbed me.

John Bonham's fills are like the funnest fills to mess around with.
LZ is one of the only bands I can think of that if I hear they're touring or something I'd be like; would it be as good without the drummer?

have you even listened to zeppelin 1?? Before you say Bonham isn't impressive on this album, why don't you listen to his bass drum triplets on good timed bad times. You cant even say that Plant sucks on this album after listening to his vocal range on communication breakdown, of babe I'm going to leave you. you obviously don't play guitar to realize how an incredible pages solos are on dazed and confused, and how many more times. Why don't you listen to the album again and come back and write a better review

I think this album has one of the coolest covers for its time period.
Anyway, i can see where someone dislikes the album, personally i think its the worst of the S/T ones, and better than houses of the holy. It's not perfect, Good Times Bad Times wasnt memorable, black mountain side is really hard on the ears and i thought You Shook Me was too much like Dazed and Confused.
Babe im gonna leave you is the obvious highlight in my eyes.

Also Iluvatar, i just get the feeling you like disliking the album just because it's a big band that everyone loves. I dunno. You seem so dead set on setting everyone set that this is your opinion and we should accept it.
