Hmm...I mostly agree with that Muzz. I wouldn't put his cleans near my favourite within the genre, but I completely agree that there's a lot of really good bands who have very generic & homogenous clean vocals and Jason's definitely have a distinct personality to them.
Dani has a helluva bark on him though, for me he's the one who stands out from the cookie cutter metalcore vocals.

Good fucking question. You know what, I don't think I have an answer for you right now. I just a did a mental take of some of my favourite vocalists and I can't say any of them would fall into the metalcore category.
