I agree with Pots, as a Mexican I find the word "latinx", confusing, I thought Latin was a neutral noun, which we don't have in Spanish, it's either Latino as a masculine noun or Latina as a feminine noun. Maybe Latine makes more sense, but I've never seen that one in real life yet.
