Oh absolutely. It's unbelievably filthy, psychedelic, swampy goodness. Really takes what Obliteration did with Nekropsalms and kicks up the putrid fumes by a few fat notches.

update: yeah that slimelord record kicks ass, excellent blend of osdm with some dissonant elements and that caustic sound that the norwegian scene seems to be drawn to
filthy vocals as well

well that should be a plus because vektor's vocal style is at best passable and at worst fucking annoying as hell

But I think what annoys me most about this is the dissonant dm influence, which is probably the only death metal subgenre I dislike

Hmm, it doesn’t sound that dissonant to me but I suppose it has some of that flava - one of those ‘making consonance out of dissonance’ types. I‘ve levelled up enough by now though, so familiarity / perspective etc.
Vektor vox are fine, not sure if they’d suit Slimelord mind

25 minutes thrash song seemed life threatening. Luckily it had proggy/disso/tech death vibe to hold my hand through it.
