brings forth the lush atmosphere from their last album while maintaining the aggressive nature from their prior works. closing track is soooo good and the melody in the title track is ON POINT

I've seen this kind of comment already a few times now and while I really don't mind the black metal soundscapes I'm also pro-full folk album again. ...Heirdom was essential to the band growing musically though. This would have been exceptionally paint by numbers without the inflections and nuance of those dark folk passages.

Production sounds massive, I like it.
This might be my favourite from them. Production is huge, it's heavier, it's more uplifting/epic, but it still has cool acoustic passages.
