Appreciate it Memento, that's very nice. And glad you enjoyed!

Imagine you'd enjoy this one Slex, give it a go?

Whenever you (positively) review a 'core' record created by a band that has the post-metal tag, I tend to enjoy it. Had a similarly positive experience with the second Zapruder record for example.

Thank you! I try my best. Post stuff tends to be attractive to my ears.

I can only extend my thanks for your penchant to pick tasty post stuff, which is indeed, if properly executed rather sonically attractive.

I'm trying to write an article on post-metalcore, which will hopefully see the light of day over the summer. Going to try and establish that it's a genre that, while not represented very much, has some of the finest releases within the overall category of metalcore.

Throwing in post-elements can just do wonders for a band's sound.

I'll be looking forward to that. I'd imagine, that cetrainly in terms of texture and atmosphere, adding post-metal elements can do wonders.

if they're playing power chords to sound big on a fat 32 bar then it's not post-

Pretty cool that this is sitting at top 6 rated for the year thus far

if only the metric behind it was any good instead of pitting 400 rates vs 40 rates

Not stacking one against the other at all. I just like seeing lesser-known stuff get some of the spotlight.

Definitely. The mood hits, and the vocalist's restraint plays a big part in letting it breath.

One of those albums I'll be coming back to throughout the year. I try to like this style more than I do... and this band does exactly what I feel it needed.

I know the feeling for sure. Sometimes something comes out that just targets a very specific sort of sound that doesn't pop up very often. This is definitely not your garden variety post-hxc sort of stuff.

Glad you enjoyed my man, that's nice of you to say. I try my best to highlight underground stuff so I'm glad I was able to get these guys some exposure around here.

Production seems a little bit off based on bandcamp . . . let's see, I heard some good stuff but most seems just a mix and match of other bands
