Musically I’d say this is a 4, but the lyrics got kinda repetitive after a couple songs. Also, some of the songs end so abruptly it pulled me out of the album for a second.

"@klap: It's basically Clairo/Hatchie hybrid pop but replace the bedroom vibes of the former and danceable vibes of the latter with actual guitars/solos and better lyrics. Do with this information what you will."

yeah I'm not super lovin this. I like it, but can't love it. Most songs are very middle of the road, low effort. pleasant enough on the surface, but I feel like there's not a whole lotta meat on these bones

I've been on a dream pop binge recently, so this is perfect.

Listened to this about 8 times on repeat. Really liking the entire aesthetic of it with the dream pop inter laced with riffs and depressing lyrical content with well sung clean vocals. Overall kind of all merges together if not focusing on the tracks but definitely will keep of repeating. The lyrics in happy resonate hard with me

Glad this is catching on here, I honestly did not expect it to (simply because of the lack of name recognition). This is absolutely gorgeous and I listen to it on repeat as well; it's "perfect" for what it is but I also can't wait to see if she introduces some new sounds on her sophomore follow-up, whenever that may be. I think she could take this in a folk direction with some strings, woodwinds, etc (while retaining the overall dream pop aesthetic) and it would be even cooler.

Cool. I think you'll like it, just be aware that it's not "poppy" in the sense that it's upbeat and catchy. It's got a pretty atmosphere, lots of guitars (for dream pop at least), and lyrics that are above average for the genre. Great mood/background music with a few unexpected crescendos/twists.

Zhuangzi's Dream is a highlight on this for me. Such a beautiful progression/melody
