this has some stellar highlights but yeah the songwriting feels kinda autopilot americana a lot of the time. still this is way too much in my camp for me to ignore how great she is at selling even the weakest moments

This is a classic IMO but it was a 3.5 for me on first listen lol. Be sure to spin Lilacs a few more times.



New one continues to grow even after a week of listening (thanks to a promo), and may end up going higher than my initial review score. She's so good, and her works are always on the subtle side until they sink in.
