Still puzzles me as to how they haven’t become more popular
@Scheumke If you’re craving more, listen to Pins and Needles next, then Walking With Strangers. The former is their most accessible (and my personal favorite), and the latter is probably the best example of their unique style.

I recommend the debut if you want them at their most atmospheric and gothy, it's my favorite one.
But it's all a matter of what shade (of purple) you dig the most, this band tends to consistently slap.

"Last song on this is pure fire"
Agreed hard. Probably their most atmospheric closer to date.

"They burnt every shed of innocence leaving a skeleton boy, a skeleton boy" end album/
Oof. That track hits hard.

Flashback and Crush are my favorites off of this. Not one bad song for me. Loved this band for many years now and I hope people buy their album to support them.

Flashback is also my fav I think

Personally, that's my least favorite one. Violet is when they came togther for me, but Pins and Needles is where it's at.

I always felt like Walking With Strangers was the best combination of their atmospheric roots and the more modern pop sound that became more prominent afterwards. Lots of highlights on that album.
But yes, Pins and Needles is a close second.

Idk Pins always felt a bit too vanilla to me, it's one of my least favorites.
My favorite TBM song of all time is Under the Stairs if it's of any help to define my TBM taste (plus pretty much every other N&N song, of which a 2nd place would likely be To Die For).

Anyone have a link to the video where Willie got quoted? That's so cool.

This rules, as expected.
Violet is my favourite, but I'd recommend Walking with Strangers to newcomers for the reasons Whispered mentioned.
Nothing and Nowhere is fairly overlooked ("Under the Stairs" is the best song from that for me too); I'd assume that's mostly because it has a less polished sound than anything that came after it.

Band is super consistent
|
| |
I don't know . It feels like the same . All the songs feels the same which make it boring after a while ...
|
| |
I don't think I've ever heard this band, it seems like the right time to change that.
Nice review, as always.
