--just done a review for this myself, although it hasn't been posted yet.--

So, where is it?

--Honestly, I've never been a fan of these guys. I might skip this.--

If you've never been a fan, this probably won't be the album that shows you the error of your ways.

--Never listened to these guys before but I really enjoy the singles for this --

Did you check out the whole thing yet?

--i think the only thing that lets me down about this album is the tracking of aaron's vocals - i think it's overdone and lets the natural expression of his voice get lost in translation.--

I really like the vocals from a purely musical standpoint, but there is definitely a lack of emotion.

--Never listened to this band. Gothic? Doom? Prog? Starting point? Willie used melody a lot. I like melody.--

They're a doom band, but not one of the ultra-slow ones. This particular album has a lot of melody.

Check out A Line of Deathless Kings instead. As far as their latest-ish output goes, it's a borderline masterpiece.

#1 MDB riff is either The Cry of Mankind or Der Uberlebende

I think my favorite MDB album is Turn Loose the Swans, but for the modern stuff it's definitely The Light At the End of the World.

Shit I missed this was out already. Nice review, going to listen to this right now. "Guitar-driven" made me want to listen to it now.

Feel the Misery wasn't bad but I never went back to listen to it. For Lies is def the worst MDB

At least as bad.. I'd need to relisten to establish proper ranking. But I'd say yes, I'd take %Complete over Lies
