he has some whack/nonsense/eye-rolling lyrics but...so does everyone in the modern hip hop scene? I feel like he is actually toward the top of the crop in terms of his lyrics making sense.
And obviously his delivery and charisma is superb for what he's going for.
Issue is quite a lot of his output just bores me.
This mostly grew off me within like 3 listens

I think that Denzel Curry is in the Chris Webby tier of like "I'm good by comparison so everyone thinks I'm good" rappers.
I mean, compare him to a guy like Maxo Kream, for example, and he blasts Denzel Curry out of the water lyrically. Just because you aren't awful and there's proper grammar in your lyrics does not a good lyricist make.
