--why does everyone constantly bring up Max in relation to Sepultura?--
Because he still talks shit about the band in interviews. Calls them irrelevant, etc... So, he links himself back to this band instead of having a clean split. Just a few days ago his wife lost her shit on the band through twitter because Andreas said something about not caring about a reunion or something like that.

Didn't Max leave the band because of some stupid drama between his wife and Kisser

Separations between musicians are always a very delicate subject. Look at Mustaine's example, he never really got over his dismissal. Sepultura's soap opera is different, but it also has its skeletons in the closet.

"Separations between musicians are always a very delicate subject."
I dunno there are plenty amicable splits or timely mends. Mustaine as an example to illustrate otherwise is like, the lowest possible hanging fruit for an anecdote possible lmao
Not everyone in the music industry is petty

You know who did get over their dismissal from an insanely popular band (like think approximately 5 billion times more popular than Sepultura)?
Pete Best.
If he can do it anyone can.

20 years ago, I thought these guys were done. But here they are and their last two albums are solid. Props to Andreas Kisser and Paulo Jr. for steering the ship.
Very good review as always, dude.

Definitely. I really liked the first single, but I never thought the album as a whole would be so solid. The band is super confident at the moment.

Good review man, short but relevant. More reviewers should follow that example (myself included)

Thanks man. Except for some albums, which need more detailed description, I also prefer shorter reviews. Then let us know what you think of the album.
