I would highly recommend doing so. This project just keeps getting better and better.

First time hearing these guys and I gotta say I came out pretty impressed. I listened all the way through once and immediately started it over again.

@derkaderka The exact same effect this record elicited in me. The rest of their catalogue is also extremely solid. Would certainly recommend. Especially their latest 4 records.

Once again it was an interesting listen, even though I didn't completely fall for it.

God damn this is spectacular, are all their albums sounding like this? This sounds futuristic as hell

@bloc perhaps meta-aesthetically TQ has always sounded similar to this record: Tamai tends to experiment heavily both compositionally and instrumentally with industrial-metal, black-metal and Hungarian-folk influences being integral to Thy Catafalque's sound. Especially the last 4/5 records embody the above categorization to a meaningful (and noticeable) extent.

Although I think this is the best album this group has ever released, the rest of their discography is well-worth checking out also. Quality stuff I tell you.

Cool album. Gives me a Secret Chiefs 3 kick, albeit with different influences - they blend things together almost as smoothly. Naput is ugh so good.

"Despite the avant garde focus of Thy Catafalque’s music the ‘metal’ parts feel equally over and underused in sections"

This is a hot take and really sets out my feeling on this record. What's the balance of influences like on their past stuff?

@Johnny this entire album is hella sexy.
