Third track dragging a little, but the first two were crazy good.

On Irradia now, I'm so sleepy, momentum is gone. They had smth really cool during the second half of La Casa del Diavolo but they always return to these long unwinding quiet ambient passages with whispers that are just soooooooooooooooooo dragging...

I'll say it once, I'll say it again, those bloody 'ambient passages'.

They abuse them and kill the album for me.

"I'll say it once, I'll say it again, those bloody 'ambient passages'. "

Yep, they build the suitable surrounding atmosphere.

The album has an interesting replay value, it has been a good companion in my traffic jams.

@TheNoTrap I understand their implementation, however, I feel as if their length as well as their specific integration into the compositions leaves something to be desired.

@TheNoTrap, I wasn't necessarily referring to them in an absolute negative way, but merely commenting on my mild dislike regarding their length and their compositional position at times during the record.

Fair enough MementoMori. I understand those moments aren't to everyone's liking. I love the album's flow.

So MiloRuggles said this on prev page and I totally agree and advice you too. Debut is a 4 to 4.5 one:

"Decided to start at the start with these guys. That first album is fun as fucking, don't sleep on it"

BTW cool fun new avi Milo...I hope this year we agree more...

If the previous albums have at least this quality, we're dealing with a talented band

This is one of those albums where I listen and mildly enjoy what I'm hearing and then go "yeah, the first half of this album isn't so bad"...and then I realize I'm only two songs in and have barely dented the thing.

Even as an avid post-metal fan and general listener of 10+ minute songs, this is a beast to get through.
