Is this your first Pinegrove Johnny? If so def check Cardinal, I think the songwriting in that one is the sharpest.

Cardinal has the hardest emo vibes and is all the better for it.

I adore their audiotree session but found the counterparts on cardinal pretty meh. seems like they can’t translate their live show to the studio

An acoustic version of darkness from the last album is far and away the best thing I've ever heard from this band

'i am also led to something that i said regarding all this that i regret immensely. i said that i could sense who from the crowd would be interested in sleeping with me based on how they watched me perform. this comment applies such a dark layer to my interactions with people after our sets. nobody coming to a concert deserves to be evaluated based on their sexual potential by the performer. i absolutely crossed a line with that comment and that behavior, and i am so sorry.'

this might be an example of the softboi feminism that luci was talking about.

Dotted Line, Phase, Endless, Neighbor and the closer are all great, but Endless is the winner.

Last album didn't do it for me but this rules. What a pleasant surprise to start the year.

Just tiered the album. Not seeing the mass appeal of Endless but its definitely growing. Alcove is really the only thing that does nothing for me, but its pleasant enough.

Perfect:

Spiral, The Alarmist, No Drugs, Phase

Excellent:

Dotted Line, Moment, Hairpin, Neighbor

Good:

Endless, Alcove, Marigold

That little guitar break around 1:20 into "The Alarmist" is everything.
