I do agree there because they made great album after great album for years, and were still getting shit even back then. They’ve definitely fallen off, but they’re mostly mediocre rather than terrible now (excerpt for A Head Full, which is pretty bad).
Still, considering the caliber of their earlier work, they basically get a life time pass from me. Credit where credit is due.

They definitely have been in a "sellout" phase for a while and their music has greatly suffered, so it's a bit deserved. But a lot of the younger people that hate on them/equate them to nickelback don't realize that their early stuff is quite good. So I agree in that way

I know ): I've just never come back to this in full since it dropped, I only jam like 4 songs from this pretty regularly (which is still a big achievement)
If anything, this proved that they definitely still got it when it comes to showstopper songwriting
