It's amazing how every melody and note works so, so well. Not a thing feels out of place and it never makes a wrong move.

Everything in it's right place...
Think of the stilted delivery on the verses of Human Condition and how difficult that is to pull off (one of my favorite by way).

Yes! And man, the end of Human Condition hit me out of nowhere the first time. One of my favourite moments here

Interesting, because I was gonna say this kind of reminds me of Hop Along.

Yeah, same sort of bucket for me - just don't connect with either band

Yea lol i went ibto this because someone said it was perfect for Hop along fans. And although compositionally and insteumentally its pretty cool, i kinda hate the vocals, they are really uninteresting AND kinda take away from the experience for me personally

Vox share some of Frances Quilans affectations but not nearly as pronounced. She does this Delores O'Riordan (Cranberries)yelping thing I like quite a bit too.

Cranberries! I don't know how I didn't make that connection earlier, but it fits so well. A Hop Along/Cranberries/Third Eye Blind hybrid, while still being their own thing. No wonder I love this lol

Cranberries came to mind before Hop Along, although I could see either comparison being made.

Cranberries are my least favourite 90s well respected indie-ish band so makes sense, godawful they were

they were hit or miss for me. love zombie, don't see how anyone couldn't - but hate linger and a handful of their other successful songs. mostly I just respected her voice, and I hear a lot of the same power and dexterity in great grandpa

Cranberries never quite decided on a sound and were extremely hit-and-miss as a result. GG seems to have a really defined sound despite, or perhaps because of the collaborative nature of the group.

Try listening to Zombie played against your will for three months in your school form room
Sure you can absolutely loathe it, made me wish for someone to put on 'Scatman's World' for some relief

How tf can you hate on No Need to Argue? I will agree though that Zombie is kind of annoying.

I feel like there's definitely songs on here better than Digger, but Digger is still the one I keep coming back to.
