Just went ahead re-listened to this yesterday ... turns out I might have actually been hearing it in full for the first time. Seems like I may have just listened to Dark Green Water on repeat years ago because it was sincerely all I remembered.

Bloom -> Ending -> Rosalie was my favorite moment on the album. The full piano song really caught me off-guard where I had to check to make sure the album hadn't accidentally switched.

Their concert was my first event/concert casualty as a result of covid... if only I had known the tidal wave of canceled plans that would come after

Pretty sure I was chilling at Slex's place when I first this at the tail end of 2019. Either that, or I was looking the album up during that visit. Good times

Can't wait for the new one

... I just had to google what that meant. It appears I am a bit behind with the roster, last one I played (only a little though) was Brawl.

I have only owned and played the shit out of the N64 version in college (Samus FTW).

trust tec to be a tier whore...

Normally I would agree with this 100% (am tier whore, can confirm) but as Colton would gladly tell you, I am a very very very mid SMASH player, not remotely close to playing at a competitive level or anything like that, and my choice of G&W in this case was based solely on having liked playing as him in one of the earlier Smashes (I think it was Melee, never had Brawl). IIRC, he was actually kinda bum-tier in that game, so I was surprised to eventually find out he was upper tier in Ultimate. For someone of my skill level in Smash, though, it doesn't really matter. I barely utilize all the things that make him truly "A" tier (or whatever tier he is these days) anyway. Except for Up + B of course.

Not to hide my true colors, though - I absolutely did try to play with some of the other top tier people. From what I remember - Pikachu, Sonic, Steve, Peach. And was absolutely terrible lol. Even with better characters that have less complicated movesets, I suck (worse than usual). There's something about G&W's general movement that's different from literally everyone else that is sort of a curse once you get used to it, because it makes playing as anyone else weird as hell.

Anyway I haven't played Smash in years, sadly. Kinda stopped once my second kid was born and never tried to get back into it. Though I wouldn't mind. Been playing through the FF Pixel Remasters recently. Also picked up and played Celeste for the first time. Good game, that.

Aye I respect it, G&W is a blast. Could play entire games with just up+b and forward air alone. I know what you mean about his movement, dude's a drift king

Celeste my beloved, crafted many fond (see: tormenting) memories getting my ass beat by the C sides
