Ace review man. Really don't know what else I can say about these dudes that hasn't already been said. So, in conclusion...

With the amount of love on this album I am shocked there's not a cover of Lovefool, that would have been sweet

nothing I haven't heard before, but done well enough to be passable. Teenage me would've fucked with this hard.

Imprints is like the final form of this band's sound. The Super Saiyan Blue Counterparts song.

it’s early but this is likely their best work

takes elements from prophets, ynya and tdbhah and combines them into a masterwork

Can't say I agree with the myriad "They've reached their final form/it's all been building to this" points in this review. This hardly sounds like much of an evolution from YNYA and I'd say Tragedy still tops this. Well written review, though.

All that said this still rules. They just write such damn satisfying music.

gave this band another shot, but still don't hear what people love about them. it just sounds like well performed, run of the mill metalcore.

but it feels neither forced nor disingenuous when it’s next to some of the most gratuitous melodies and devastating breakdowns the band has ever written.

Is gratuitous really the word you wanted there?

Probably not! I've been quietly fixing it here and there since I'd posted, and I definitely still have a tendency not to proofread well enough. Thanks for the feedback Dev!

Thanks for the feedback, sputfriends. @kingjulian that's fair. I didn't jive so much with a few of their previous albums myself.

Oof I can definitely feel where you're coming from there, RIP Casey.

YNYA had some straight up bops, but this felt more solid front to back. I'm having a hard time finding a song that I didn't want to swing my arms n shit to.
